Southern Heritage Custom Construction
Owner Drew Kennedy has more than 23 years of experience in the construction industry. His passion for remodeling took root in college when he worked for his father's Mississippi-based home construction business.
In 2004, Drew moved to Colorado Springs to continue working in the construction industry. He gained hands-on experience in various building trades, including landscaping, excavating, foundations, framing, plumbing, electrical work, trim carpentry, and drywall. Over the years, he has also developed skills in selling and installing underground waterworks for new housing developments, building high-end custom homes, and renovating historical buildings.
While working for other companies, Drew further developed his skill in design and project management. He has designed landscapes, outdoor living areas, custom decks and covers, whole house remodels, spacious RV garages, and home additions in the Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak region.
Drew's knowledge extends beyond practical skill. His ability to navigate the approval processes with local zoning departments, building departments, and other local agencies helps ease the process of obtaining approvals for home renovations and additions.
In 2019, Drew decided to use his expertise to start his own full-service residential remodeling company, aiming to provide his clients with a fully customized renovation experience.
